Too big for it’s boots

Finally the city of Southampton is getting the help it needs, with so many ships now arriving into the port and with the port of Liverpool increasing it’s capacity, the city of Southampton has finally agreed on revamping it’s terminals. This great news but what about the traffic problems that occur every day from all the many passengers arriving by car. There seems to be endless road works and traffic congestion just outside the port, are the city going to look at improving this?  l’m happy that the port is doing this but I feell the biggest issue is the amount of traffic arriving into the city. I only hope things will change in this direction too.

Have you arrived for your ship in a car at Southampton, if so what was your experience like?

Well at least something is being done, but I don’t think it is enough.
