Sold on

I have just found out the news that Royal Caribbean are selling the Splendour Of The Seas to Thomson cruises, just one of may Royal Caribbean ships I have had the pleasure to work, such happy memories, made so many friends and so many stories(however I will have to keep them secret as I could not possibly share them on here !

I believe when she originally entered service she was the biggest ship in the world, how times have moved on. I think she will be a great addition to Thomson cruises as long as they leave her as she is and they don’t mess around with her. At least it gives Thomson cruises are higher % of balcony cabins now. I have always felt Thomson have held themselves back by not offering enough balconies on their ships, with the addition of the Splendour that has certainly improved their chances of getting more customers back to their brand.

Well I will say a fond farewell to the Splendour Of The Seas and a big hello to the Thomson Splendour(just guessing the name but I think it works)
