Yes booking a cruise can be a minefield at the best of times, trying to decide what itinerary to choose, what time of year to go, what kind of experience you want. It’s very different to choosing a land based holiday that’s for sure.
I would say that once you have narrowed down those decisions, the next mine field to accomplish is the “What cabin should I choose” again very different to choosing a hotel room. You have the option of the following
Inside Cabin
Outside Cabin (Obstructed View)
Outside Cabin with Port Hole
Outside Cabin Picture Window
Balcony
Balcony (Obstructed View)
Deluxe Balcony
Suite
and then not only do you need to choose one of the above , you need to decide what part of the ship you want the cabin in.
Phew it’s tough work.
Anyway’s to help you a little I have added a link below, give it a click and find out exactly what type of cabins can be found on each cruise line
Good Luck
