Celebrity goes all British

Booze is always a main talking point on cruises, so cruisers may be rejoicing at the news that Celebrity president and CEO Dan Hanrahan has announced that six British and Irish beers will be served onboard Celebrity Eclipse all summer: Fuller’s London Pride, Old Speckled Hen, Boddingtons, Guinness, Murphy’s Stout and Newcastle Brown Ale.

Now they havn’t said how much a pint will cost however there still is that pasky 15% service charge could still be included, whether it states on the reciept that the charge is included or a seperate line on the reciept will show the charge.  There is a rumbling that the charge might be removed all together!!

Should there still be a service charge? Is it fair to remove it and the bar servers not get the gratuity?

As an ex crew member I know how hard these guys work.  Surely Celebrity are making enough off the drinks to get rid of the charge and still tip the bar people!!!
