Adonia late for her own party

The new ship in the P&O fleet the Adonia is going to miss her agent viewing in Southampton this weekend.  She was supposed to arrive early Friday morning but due to ‘adverse weather conditions’ she is now scheduled to arrive between 10.00am and Noon on Friday.

The late arrival is because she was in Freeport in the Bahamas undergoing a re fit and due to bad weather the sail time across the Atlantic is taking longer than expected.

The naming ceremony which is due to take place on Saturday is still planned to go ahead.  Dame Shirley Bassey is due to name the ship.
