Explorer Of The Seas: Up Sticks For A New Destination Mix!

As the chill sets in the Northern Hemisphere, the Explorer Of The Seas will travel south for warmer climes. Leaving European waters in October 2015 the ship will sail down to Australia. On its way it will be stopping off in Dubai. Passengers can then embark on a 11 day Middle East and Asia Cruise, before finally arriving into the lively city of Singapore.

This itinerary includes the palm trees, white sands and sparkling waters of Goa in India.

Staying in India, the ship sails onto Cochin,  a vibrant city situated in the state of Kerala and often hailed as gods own country.   The fascinating fusion of east meets west greets passengers when the ship docks into Penang, Malaysia. Before it arrives into Singapore the ship sails into Kuala Lumper which would give you time to visit the amazing Petronas Twin Towers, the tallest twin building in the world!

If these destinations don’t inspire you to book, perhaps the ship will! There is so much to keep you entertained on board. For the energetic amongst you, the new FlowRider surf simulator, and the  ice-skating rink should keep your pulse racing!  In contrast 10 pools and whirlpools will help you relax and recharge your batteries. Last but not least there is the impressive Royal Promenade, an interior boulevard that runs nearly the length of the ship, flanked by restaurants, lounges and boutiques.  The picture below shows just how fabulous this is!

Writing about this cruise has whet my own appetite to visit some of these locations myself.  I now just have to persuade my husband!
