I Am Back !!!!
Just thought I would let you all know I’m back in work after having a brilliant and exciting Jubilee Bank Holiday.
My goodness what an excellent long weekend I have had, the best in a long time. Myself and my boyfriend went out for a beautiful meal on Saturday night. Then Sunday we spent the day in Manchester at The Northern Quarter where they were holding a massive street party for the Jubilee.
Even though the weather in Manchester wasn’t the best It didn’t stop everyone coming out to enjoy the celebration of the Queens Jubilee. People gathered in their thousands to enjoy the temporary bars and family fun, to dance in the streets, wave flags and wear the distinctive red, white and blue colours of the Union flag. The roads were filled with rows of picnic tables, drapped in Union Jack table cloths. Lots of food, drink and music going on, everyone really enjoying themselves.
Monday we went to the Hacienda’s 30thbirthday party and again what an excellent night was had by all. Tuesday a day of rest was defiantly needed before coming back to work.
