MSC-Seaside

First MSC unveiled plans for MSC Seaside currently under construction and promises to bring guests closer to the sea with a unique waterfront promenade that wraps right around the ship, offering places to shop, eat and sunbathe while panoramic lifts providing breathtaking sea views, MSC Seaside will offer one of the largest and most interactive Aquaparks at Sea featuring Slide boarding technology

Next MSC Cruises has unveiled plans to create an “unprecedented exclusive marine reserve island experience in the Bahamas.”

The project was officially launched yesterday afternoon in Nassau, MSC Cruises Executive Chairman signed a 100-year lease agreement that will enable MSC Cruises to occupy and develop the island, to be called Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve at a cost of $200 million offering a magnificent extension of our shipboard experiences.”

“This unique feature also means guests can move at leisure between ship and island, which will be especially useful since a key part of their visit will be the island’s night life, in particular live music and entertainment and many restaurants and bars. In addition, the ship and all onboard services – including the casino – will stay open while berthed at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve,” said a statement from MSC.

For MSC Yacht Club guests, the northwest corner of the island has been set aside as an exclusive spa and wellness sanctuary, with private bungalows and massage huts.

MSC are not the 1st cruise line to own a private island

Half Moon Cay is Holland America’s own private island in the Bahamas – when it’s not being used by Holland America, Carnival’s ships make port here with 2 miles of powdery sand and private cabanas for hire

Royal Caribbean’s private destination in Labadee, Haiti, is what Caribbean living is all about, guests can soak-up the sun on expansive white beaches, meander

Cruise to Cococay, Bahamas – Royal Caribbean’s 2nd own eco-friendly private island paradise. The entire island is all yours to enjoy with pure white sandy beaches and in the azure waters that you only find in the Bahamas.

What will be next for MSC … Private Jets maybe??
