7 new ships are ready to hit the water next year
Royal Caribbean are scheduled to roll out the largest ships in their fleet in Spring next year with much anticipated and hyped Harmony and Ovation of the Seas
Holland America’s Koningsdam will launch in April, the first new ship for a number of years
In May River cruise giant Viking Ocean Cruises will launch its second ship named the Viking Sea. It will have a hands-on cooking experience called the Kitchen Table and free shore excursions.
Carnival Vista will launch in May with a return to Mediterranean fly cruises, the largest in the fleet and first in its new Vista class, boasts the first IMAX theater at sea as well as an on-board brewery.
Regent Seven Seas Explorer, Regent’s largest ship will be launched next summer will all balcony suites and 6* Luxury as throughout the fleet
Oceania will also welcome its new addition with its April debut, Sirena will join the line’s trio of award winning sister ships Insignia,Regatta and Nautica and offer an array of new itineraries filled with unique destinations to provide more options for Oceania Cruises guests. After undergoing an extensive bow-to-stern refurbishment, Sirena will emerge with the same stunning elegant style Oceania Cruises guests love about the existing fleet, and feature renowned specialty dining restaurants Toscana and Polo Grill, along with more recent additions to the fleet such as Baristas and the cook-to-order grill Terrace Café.
2016 will also see hot new destinations and port of call to many itineraries
Royal Caribbean’s Ovation of the Seas home port will be Shanghai, with exciting summer 2016 Asia Adventure cruises to Tianjin, Hong Kong and Xiamen – and primarily sailing three- to 12-night itineraries to destinations in Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam.
Oceania’s Sirena has exciting new ports including famed beaches of Gaeta (Italy), pristine rainforest of Golfito (Costa Rica) and well-preserved provincial township of La Paz (Mexico).
