Fred has done it again

We have just returned from our annual conference with Cruise.Co.UK and this year we joined the Fred Olsen ship Balmoral. Our sailing was a 70’s themed sailing for 3 nights sailing from Southampton. I love this ship I have sailed on Balmoral before and have also sailed on Braemar, but can honestly say Balmoral is the best ship in their fleet.

My cabin was 4117 which is an outside cabin and located mid ship on deck 4, it had everything in it  you could want really.

Our trip included a 2 day stopover in Bruges a place I have been to on a few occasions, but its somewhere you want to visit again and again, we were lucky we had good weather for walking around the town.

Back on board our dining time was set for 2nd seating and in the Spey restaurant, each evening it was a 5 course meal we enjoyed, the food was fantastic and I was impressed with the menu’s each evening all diets were catered for.

I would jump at the chance to go on her again the food, staff, entertainment all of it was impressive.

Have a lovely Christmas and a happy new year, look forward to speaking to you all again soon.

Jill.
