It’s that time of year…..Buster the Boxer versus Kevin the Carrott

It’s that time of year ……The C word is about , we’ve just got past Halloween and Bonfire Night and then WAM BAM Christmas is upon us.
The flights on on between the supermarkets and stores for whose got the best Christmas advert….so far I’ve seen John Lewis Buster the Boxer, they are making us laugh this year rather than giving us a tear jerker ….who betther than the family dog to make us all go ahhhhhhhh….. my dog jacko does this everyday in our house.

You may of already seen the edited version that hit you tube with Hilary Clinton as the little girl and Donald Trump as Buster the Boxer with mum and dad Obama, if youv’e not have a quick peek on you tube , it’s worth the look.
Aldi have given us Kevin the carrott and Marks and Spencer have kept a traditional Christmas feel with mince pies for santa but Mrs Claus saving the day  .
Following on from the TV adverts is the big race on for the Number 1 spot in the charts, will it be the manufactured X factor – please not Honey G or will we have an artist who has taken the time to release a Christmassy song like we used to have.

We have Black Friday looming at the end of November where people stampede in the supermarkets to pick up bargains  , Amazon have extended there Black Friday to a Black Week .
I may be a bah humhug but for me this is November , Christmas should stay in December then we can enjoy the run up rather than all being fed up with it half way through December and looking at wilting trees as they’ve been up for so long.
In the Hendo house no tree or decs will grace the walls or fire place till after the second week in December when it really is Christmas time …..;. our main decision is do we go real or artifical????
