BLACK FRIDAY…..Was it worth it?

Black Friday has come and gone….did you get yourself a bargain?

Over the last few years we have seen anarchy in the aisles as people have tried to get the latest TV or other white goods  in the Black Friday deals.

The worse being a few years ago when customers in Asda stores where all over the news actually fighting to get there hands on the TV’s .

This year seemed alot more civilised and I’ve not seen any news reports of fighting in the aisles , is this because the stores and online retailers are stretching the deals out over a week or even 10 days in the case of Amazon or are we realising that its not a deal if we actually dont need it.

Last week I needed a new microwave so off I went to Currys where luckily I managed to get a better than half price deal on a Black Friday advertised offer on the Monday before , purchase made . This was a deal for me as I wanted the microwave but I know I wouldnt buy something just because its half price if I didnt really need it .

We at cruise co had amazing deals on from Friday to Monday which even incliuded highly reduced childrens fares in the school summer holidays  and as you can imagine these sold out, I even had a client who had purposfully been waiting for the Black Friday offers .
