Too Formal for Ed!

It has recently been reported that a famous celebrity had been spotted on board Cunard’s QM2.  Ed Sheeran had been spotted on the QM2 recording his brand new album.  Apparently he turned up in New York and asked for a cheap cabin for the transatlantic sailing back to Southampton to write new material.  He was happy with a cheap cabin where he locked himself a way to come up with some new songs which would be for his third album.  Ed Sheeran became famous for his hit The A Team in 2011.  He dropped out of school at 16, and moved to London in 2008, to pursue a career in music.  While he was on board he had requested a meeting room so Cunard found him a windowless crew room where he spent the entire week.  As we all know Ed Sheeran has a scruffy laid back dress sense and obviously this isn’t Cunard.  It had been claimed he was unable to attend any formal events on the ship and dinners because of what he was wearing but he didn’t care.  It has been said that he wasn’t too bothered and was happy and chatting to everyone.  Cunard have had quite a few celebrities spotted over the years.  My auntie was on board QM2 when Rod Stewart was on board and they saw him quite a few times.  Other celebrities include Elizabeth Taylor and Uma Thurman.  I think that QM2 transatlantic sailing just suited Ed Sheeran and it gave him time to lock himself away to write music.  I love the QM2 and I have done a transatlantic sailing myself.  I would love to get back on the ship after its been remastered to see how different it is.  I like the whole dressing up on the evening for dinner and much prefer this to casual dining.
