Bring On 2015!

Firstly I want wish all my readers, clients, colleagues, friends and family a very Happy New Year!

This year has best a fantastic year for me, having had a great 12 months working for Cruise.co, sailing to Oslo and Bruges, and visiting three different ships, it’s been amazing.

But personally it’s been excellent as well, we have chosen our wedding venue and started to plan our wedding, all very exciting. We have now lived in our new house for a full 12 months, and also I have managed to pick up a new car in the process!

Those who know me well will also know that we have had two successful litters of puppies too, and made some very happy homes this Christmas!

So as we wave goodbye to 2014 and say hello to 2015 today, what for the coming year?

Well on a personal note, I have my wedding in October (providing she’s not realised I’m an idiot and has changed her mind!), I have my stag do to look forward to, hopefully get the house decorating a bit further on and have a little building work done in the process! Have to find time to fit another litter of pups in there as well! So it’s all going on!

However from a work perspective, the massive news of course is the release of two brand new ships.

P&O’s Britannia, and Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas!

Both sailing from Southampton, so it’s a huge test for the British cruise market, and an even bigger test for Southampton, with these two ships being amongst the largest to sail from there. As always though, I’m sure Southampton will do us proud and continue to grow in popularity, as it has year on year.

Not forgetting Cunard’s 175th Anniversary this year in May, where all three ships will meet once again, a fantastic and rare sight i’m sure you will agree. No doubts the crowds will be out in their droves to welcome the three Queens meeting.

I know it’s going to be a tremendous year for the industry again, and I hope to have another successful year with Cruise.co booking your cruises!

Outside of work it’s going to be a mad one as well so please forgive me if when we speak I sound any of the following:

* Over Excited

* Over Worked

* Over Wedding’d

Yes it’s going to be a big year!

So here’s to 2015! Happy New Year and as always, until next time………….
