Worlds Biggest Cruise Ships Meet!

Recently the worlds 3 biggest cruise ships all met for the first time and according to passengers sailing onboard this was a truly ‘wow’ moment!

Who are the 3 biggest ships I hear you say? Well heres the low down;

Harmony of the seas which launched in may 2014 and total onboard capacity is 6780 guests

Oasis of the seas launched in December 2009 and total onboard capacity is 6360 guests

Allure of the seas launched in December 2010 and total onboard capacity 6318 guests

So as you can see the 3 sister ships are all on the ‘large’ side! but don’t let this ever pout you off booking, they are all fantastic ships and you really cannot tell just how many people are sailing onboard when you are actually onboard. I was lucky enough to spend 7 nights onboard the allure of the seas sailing around the Caribbean and I was totally dumbstruck as to how much space was on offer, I never had to que or have a fight over a sun lounger! There was just always so much space and always free beds, free seats in the bars and restaurants, i absolutley loved it and would thoroughly recommend, so if you are thinking of ant of the above ships my advice is book it! You wont be dissapointed!

Here are a few photos I took of the Allure of the seas when I sailed onboard;

Back to the meeting! the 3 ships were all in Fort Lauderdale on the same day recently, it was the first meeting of all 3 ships and it was a sight for sore eyes! As you can imagine the size of these ships, and all lined up together must have been amazing to see! Royal Caribbean marked the occasion with sixteen jetboard and jetpack riders from the amazing Aquafly Hydroflight Sports Performance Team who provided a fantastic stunt show with passengers on deck taking in the atmosphere!
