Were Off To Cuba!

There is nothing better than heading off to the sunshine in the month on December to miss out on the cold weather and the run up to Christmas and that is just what we are doing! This week we are packing up and heading off to Cuba for 2 weeks of sunshine and relaxation , oh no scrub the relaxation we have a nearly 2 year old with us!

We traveled to Cuba back in early 2014 and it didn’t go quite to plan, we booked last minute a 4* all inclusive beachfront hotel and thought that will do the trick! But we arrived and to say we were dissapointed with the hotel was an understatement! it took until the following before my husband and i would admit to each other hated the hotel! we decided there and then we wanted to move and headed of to our rep to see about moving to another hotel, it took pretty much the whole day and a heap more of money but we moved to a beautiful hotel called the Playa Pesquero Hotel and this is where we spent the following 13 nights and absolutley loved it! So now Alfie is old enough we are heading back and cant wait!

Cuba is a beautiful country and the people are just so friendly! they have nothing , no luxuries in life and many of the hotel workers rely on tips and gifts form the tourists for there families to enjoy.

Hopefully standards haven’t slipped and the hotel will be just as good or even better than our last visit! Dont get me wrong things will be slightly different this time with Alfie travelling with us too, most of my time I will spend chasing after him and keeping him entertained! but we are really looking forward to heading back to one of our favorite hotels. I will give a review of how it went when I return!
