Run Forest Run….

This week saw the children going back to school and I don’t know about you but I’m a creature of habit and love routine. The summer holidays are too long even to the point when I feel the children need to go back. I can remember when I was younger and getting really bored and then when you finally get back to school forgetting how to right as I hadn’t picked a pen up in weeks.

Now they have returned I can fully commit myself in to my half marathon training. This year I have decided to Cheltenham as I like to try and run different one’s each time. Overall this will be about my 11th and the first time I am running for Charity. A friend I went to school with has a young son who was born with Cerebal Palsy and needs a life item operation in St Louis which will help him walk. How amazing will this be for him and how incredible how much science has progressed for such an operation to be possible.

Donation

I also read this week that P&O donated £50,000 to the Teenage Cancer Trust- well done P&O. A large company like that must get asked all the time. However reading further in to this it was raised by the P&O staff at Carnival house in Southampton by doing events such as Sky Diving, Dress Down Days and even an Ironman event. I hope to raise a good amount, but truly anything is gratefully received. My dream would be to run London marathon but I know I would struggle to raise the minimum donation of £2000, I admire anyone that does this and more. The British public are a generous lot.

Watch this space to see how I do……
