Welcome Home!

It’s always nice to spend ‘quality time’ with the family and I have just returned from an eleven night holiday to Menorca. This was my first visit to the Balearic Islands and it didn’t disappoint. It was everything I could hope for an more. It was really picturesque and to wake up to the sunshine everyday was amazing. I am definitely going away somewhere similar next year. My children are very active so all they wanted was a large swimming pool and they were happy as larry. I love they way children make friends easily and luckily both mine did on the first day. This holiday didn’t go without Pokemon Go!. If they boy’s were not in the water they were walking round the complex looking for Pokemon’s. Luckily the WiFi was included otherwise it would have cost a fortune.

Once we got into the throes of it we decided to venture out and caught a local bus to Cuitadella. It’s always nice to see the surrounding and experience the way of life. I loved the narrow streets and the beautiful buildings and the colourful trees that line the streets. We only spent a couple of hours looking around as the boys were itching to get back to the pool. On another day we visited the Water Park which was directly opposite our hotel, you can’t on holiday without vising one.

One thing that made me laugh a lot was one morning I looked out of my balcony and other guests had put their towels on the floor where they wanted their sunbeds to go.They did this as the sunbeds were still locked and couldn’t reserve them. I find this unbelievable! This is taking it to the next level. I wanted to go and swop all the towels around and sit back and watch the aftermath- I didn’t but it would have been funny.
