Royal Caribbean – Smart all the Way

Wow – Can Royal Caribbean become one of the 1st cruise lines to offer such great “Smart” ways on cruising. Quantum of the seas and Anthem of the seas will be the 1st class of ships to offer the following…

• Smart check in. You can be from the cruise terminal to your cabin within 10 minutes with their new fast and effective upload of security photos before arrive. Saving time and effort when checking in, just print your boarding passes and walk on-board.
• Smart luggage – Now this is fascinating. Your baggage will be chipped so you can monitor it at all times.
• Smart Concierge. Track everything on-board from dining arrangements to your on-board account including making reservations with the new app Royal IQ. I am sure this will be used to the max whilst on-board and why not, it will take the stress of having to queue.
• Wifi Speeds. Quantum of the seas will be the 1st ship ever to have better bandwidth than all others ships combined. And with the wifi speed Royal Caribbean will be giving over 40,000 tablets to every crew members making it easier to connect with family and friends. Now what other cruise line do you know that offers that?
• Smart Sustainability. Quantum of the seas will be 20% more fuel efficient helping with our carbon foot print.
• Bionic Bar – How would you feel with having your cocktail prepared by robotic arms? Yes that’s right, your cocktail made by robotic arms. yes I had to say that twice myself.

Anthem of the seas is set to sail from Southampton from April 2015 so they have some fantastic itineraries. There is also the Quantum of the seas which is due to set sail in November 2014 and again some great Caribbean cruises available including the Bahamas.
