Good news has come to light in regards to Royal Caribbean’s pre-paid gratuities. Previously when confirming a cruise with them (not Quantum class ships) and you wanted to select the “Anytime Dining” option for your meal you would have to pre-book and pay for the gratuities upfront.
However it has now come out that on all Royal Caribbean ships you can select the “Anytime Dining” with out having to pre-pay the gratuities upfront. Giving customers more choice for their evening meals and not being penalized to do so.
And you may remember one of my more recent blogs I advised that gratuities could be dealt with in 3 ways.
I am sure I will be seeing more customers now asking for the “Anytime Dining” experience now that customers do not have to pre-pay the gratuities. Moving forward however, I hope they do not remove the 1st or 2nd sitting now and just stick to “Anytime Dining”, as this would cause concern for customers who like to have a set dining time and restaurant. What are you thoughts on this?
