Fred Olsen 70’s Party Cruise

So it looks like I may be back on the Balmoral this year for a my Christmas conference dated 11/12/15 for 3 nights. However I have been told that this is a 70’s theme party cruise and although I was not born in the 70’s, (80’s child) it was still a great decade to party from all accounts.

So it looks like I may have to ask my Dad for some clothing advice as this would have been decade to party and I am sure he will have some funny pictures to look at also. However, putting the party to one side, it will be great to venture on the Balmoral again as I was on this ship last year for 3 night taster cruise and even though it is probably the smallest ship I have ever cruised on it was certainly the best cuisine  I have ever experienced on a cruise so I will be looking forward to this.

The itinerary will be going from Southampton for 3 nights across to Bruges (Zeebrugge in Belguim) and back to Southampton. However I will not be getting off in Bruges (Zeebrugge) as I might treat myself to another lovely spa treatment again and massage as again this was probably one of the best massages I have experienced on-board a cruise (I have had a few so that’s saying something).

So all I have to do now is to find somewhere that I can hire a decent 70’s outfit from that look the part. For any advice or pictures then please send to me as would be great to see what men wore in the 70’s
