The New Norwegian Cruise

So it would appear that Norwegian Cruise Lines are set to have a new ship join their fleet yet again. It has been announced that the Norwegian Escape will be sailing in Summer 2015, subject to confirmed sail dates for the maiden voyage with the itineraries.

Are cruise lines becoming bigger and bigger with the amount of ships they have in their fleet? If so do you think this is because of the growth of customers wanting new, bigger and better, or even just because of the amount of feedback given asking for other ports of call that are unique and different to what some cruise already offer!

Take a look at the proposed cabin decor for the Norwegian Escape, based on a balcony cabin. I must say it looks rather like a 5* spa hotel room, with a sense of class and a boutique feel.

With so many cruise lines now adding bigger and better ships to their fleets customers are going to have so much choice to choice to choose from. In my opinion this great, however for some customers, is to much choice making it difficult for them to choose?

What are your thoughts?
