The expense of doing so can be very high and something we should not be worrying about whilst enjoying your cruise. However Costa Cruises has now come up with a modern way of be able to do this without the expense.

Costa has invented a free app called “My Costa”, which will allow you to use your phone on-board which will connect to the ships wifi. The app will allow you to use your phone to to make calls and texts free of charge.

So you will now be able to text / call your friends at home or even family on-board arranging to meet for pre-dinner drinks. What else is so amazing about this app is that you will be able to contact other on-board amenities like restaurants ,spa, tour office and many others. The app will be used on-board all of Costa’s ships and will also be available is many languages.

I believe that if Costa Cruises can come up with such an innovative way of moving forward then it won’t be long before many other cruise lines follow suite, lets hope so anyway.
