Cruise Ships of the Future!

With the growing cruise market have you ever wondered how our ships may look in the future. It was only when I saw a flying cruise ship on a social network that made me think what cruising may be like in 100 years time. After looking at various different cruise forums and websites I managed to get various responses back from other guests with their pictures.

It may be so far fetched or maybe so advanced for our time some of these ideas are what I would consider to be like something out of a futuristic film.

Here are just a few that I have come across which in all honesty are not that bad. However there may be some in which I think some cruise fanatics are overly exercising their imagination but with a really goo d concept.

The City Cruise

The Floating Island Cruise

The Horseshoe Cruise

The Shark Fin Cruise

And one of my favourites The Submarine

Now I know some of these ideas maybe a little far fetched for your imagination but within the next 10 years I fore see the Submarine cruise being built and the avenue being explored with various different different ideas set in motion.

Where do you see cruise ships in the next 100 years? Of course I would like to believe that customers will still want a good old fashioned cruise on-board an ocean liner, however with the likes of the Anthem of the Seas being built and probably the most advanced technology ship at sea maybe this is a start of a trend?
