Cruise Costs Set to Sail Away!

I have had many conversations over the last few weeks that the price for Royal Caribbean cruises have sky rocketed and customers are not willing to pay the asking price. With that in mind I can agree to a certain extend that some cruise itineraries in comparison to last years prices seem to be higher.

Although Royal Caribbean has a very committed and loyal cruise base of customers I still hear that prices seem to be on the increase. A lot of customers are happy to pay what ever the cost may be for a cruise if it is something particular that they want. For example the Anthem of the seas is set to sail from Southampton from April 2015 and prices have been somewhat more than the usual Royal Caribbean cruise cost out from Southampton but bearing in mind this is a brand new ship with the most up to date technology on-board and probably the most amazing ship built to date.

We have now heard rumors of the Harmony of the seas being built to join the Oasis class fleet which will compliment the oasis class ships. With cruise liners getting bigger and better should we be expecting to start paying more for what can be described as a floating 5 star experience? What are your thoughts?
