I’m off to Marbella on Friday so this morning I was doing a check list in my head. Car parking booked – check, Hotel voucher – check, Boarding passes printed – check. Now what am I forgetting? Ooops Insurance!
Now I should know better, especially as I had to make my first ever claim last year.
I was due to go to Brisbane last Sept but 24 hours before I was due to fly I ended up in hospital with Quincy’s. The timing could not have been worse and I was devastated when the doctors told me I wouldn’t be able to fly for at least a week.
As it was so close to the departure it was 100% cancellation fee from the airline so I had to pay for new flights for the following week. Luckily I was covered by Insurance so wasn’t left out of pocket.

Recently Cruise.co.uk have teamed up with Holiday Extras to offer our clients the perfect cruise insurance.
Policy’s are available to those with pre existing medical conditions as well as the over 80’s.
