World Cup Fever is almost here…

So the World Cup 2014 is upon us and starts this month in Brazil.  Will you be supporting our England Team?  Will England be coming home on 25th June – I wonder!!

I never watch football as a rule as it bores me but it is different when it’s the World Cup so I will be tuned in to watch the England matches in the group round.

Where will you be on the days when England play?

14 June 2014 England play Italy at 6pm Brazil time which means 11pm UK time

Maybe on one of these ships in Italy:-

Celebrity Equinox – Venice
MSC Preziosa – Venice
MSC Musica – Genoa
Splendour of the Seas – Venice
Independence of the Seas from UK
Norwegian Cruise Lines – Jade – Venice

Imagine being on board up on deck with a cocktail or a beer watching the match on the big screen – the atmosphere must be electric!  Especially if in Italy on 14 June – who will win and be triumphant and could it cause hostility on board between nationals – I’d hope not but you know how people get with football – it’s just a game!!

I wish I was on board a ship with a big screen to watch the England matches – oh well perhaps I’ll plan it for 2018 – who knows.

The next England match is on 19 June and starts at 4PM Brazil time so approx 8pm UK time where they play Uruguay, so are you on one of these ships?

MSC Musica – Valencia
Regal Princess – Venice
Liberty of the Seas – Rome
Brilliance of the Seas – from UK
Cunard Queen Victoria – from UK

The last match in the group is on 24 June where England play Costa Rica at 1pm Brazil time so approx 5pm UK time – maybe on one of these ships?

Cunard QM2 – transatlantic to New York
Norwegian Epic – Barcelona
Norwegian Star – Copenhagen
Oceania Nautica – Lisbon
Royal Caribbean Adventire of the Seas from UK

So that’s the first group matches – what do you think will happen?  Will England do well and go into the next round or will England be coming home on 25th June.

I would love to hear about your experience if you are on a cruise ship for any of the World Cup matches, what was the atmosphere like & would you do it again?

If you fancy being on a cruise for any of the matches then call me on 0800 408 6108 & will be happy to see what I can do for you.
