If you are a wannabe Jamie Oliver or a massive food lover then there is one cruise that you must book next year and that’s the Holland America Nieuw Amsterdam.

They will be holding a MasterChef cruise In November 2016 which will be cruising from Fort Lauderdale and doing a seven night Caribbean Itinerary.

The passengers on board are not only going to have a week in the sunshine on a beautiful ship but they are also going to experience everything food and be spoilt with amazing events on board to get everyone’s taste buds going.

This special cruise will have some amazing activities which will show you the home cooks secret ingredients and you can also watch an all-out final cook off between the reality chefs on board. The guests can also experience a live mystery box challenge just like the TV show. You will also get the chance to meet the celebrity chefs and get the perfect opportunity to take a selfie with them to post on your social media!!!

The cruise line have made the decision to do this event on this sailing as it has two days at sea which gives the guest on-board perfect time to get involved with the MasterChef offerings.

I think it’s a fabulous idea as a lot of people who cruise love food. Let’s be honest the massive attraction of cruising is all the amazing food and specialty restaurants on board , you always know you are in for a treat when you step on board. I’m sure it will be a great way to come home with some good tips to try out in the kitchen and you could have friends round to show off your new found skills.

I have been on the Britannia before where we had the opportunity to meet Marco Pierre White and James Martin. I have to say Marco was very friendly and more than happy to have his picture taken, very different from his television persona!!

All in all if you love cruising and mad about food then this will be the dream trip for you.
