Cruising to my new home

I am off for the rest of the week now as we have just received the keys for our brand new sparkly new home and are moving in on Thursday. We are all very excited , especially my boys as this will be the dream come true for them as they get to have a bedroom each….which trust me is very much needed at the moment with wars breaking out over control of the PlayStation !!

We brought the house back in April and have watched it grow from a few bricks in the ground to a fully-fledged family home so it has been very exciting to see it all come to life.

We got to choose all the tiles, the kitchen fittings and all the little extras so it really is fantastic to be finally moving in and experiencing it all.

It has been hard work as it can be a huge effort packing up a family of five and everywhere I turn at the moment there is box after box but it’s all so exciting and worth all the hard work to be getting the home of our dreams.

I know it will take a while to settle in but we have so many plans and ideas I can’t wait to get started on it all. Myself and my colleague Lisa West will be off to Grand Designs show in a few weeks to so we can get some inspiration from there and steal some ideas.

I will back in on Monday for a rest as I’m sure the next few days are going to be very hectic.
