It’s Official: This Submarine Will Take You To The Wrecks Of Titanic

One company has just made it possible for members of the public to see the world’s most famous ocean liner, RMS Titanic, up close.

Blue Marble Private and OceanGate Inc. are partnering together to offer eight-day journeys that include an exclusive submarine ride to visit RMS Titanic.

It will be limited to nine passengers per trip and will cost approximately $105,000 per person.

Blue Marble Private has revealed a description of the journey: ‘Reaching depths of 4,000 metres in a specially designed titanium and carbon fibre submersible, guided by a crew of experts, you will glide over the ship’s deck and famous grand staircase capturing a view that very few have seen, or ever will.

‘Far fewer people have visited the wreck of Titanic than the number who have been to space or summited Mt. Everest- this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and an expedition designed only for those with a truly adventurous spirit’.

Blue Marble Private will begin offering the tours in 2018 with further dives scheduled for 2019.

Sue from Alfreton said: ‘I’m not claustrophobic but I’m not keen on going so far under the water in a confined space. I wonder if they will have a few people sign up and then find they can’t cope with it when they go underwater?’ Click here to read what the rest of our expert cruise community have been saying on the matter!

Peter from Southwell said: ‘I can understand descendants of those who died wanting to pay their respects…’

But what are your thoughts? Are you a Titanic fan? Have your say…

Is this an amazing opportunity you can’t ignore? Would you pay $105,000 to see RMS Titanic? Or do you think the wrecks of the ship should be left alone? Have you been in a submarine before? Leave us your comments!
