Silversea has just added a new batch of themed sailings to its collection of Enriched Voyages, which also include culinary and wine themed itineraries.
Three cruises will be opera themed and feature four soloists from the Academy of Lyric Opera at Milan’s La Scala Theater Academy.
Passengers can look forward to performances of famous librettos. The departures include:
-September 28th 2018: Silver Muse voyage from Venice to Athens
-April 25th 2019: Silver Spirit voyage from Barcelona to Rome
-October 22nd 2019: Silver Shadow voyage roundtrip from Athens
“We are thrilled and honored to welcome such extraordinary talent from the performing arts,” Silversea’s chief marketing officer, Barbara Muckermann.
“I know our guests on these exclusive voyages will be both enriched and inspired by the exceptional onboard entertainment experience.”
For both opera and ballet themed sailings, there will be the opportunity to attend lectures and Q&A sessions with the artists and chat with them at a cocktail party.
On Silver Muse’s cruise departing from Venice to Monte Carlo on August 19th 2018, ballet soloists Daria Khokhlova and Artemy Belyakov, of the State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Russia, will step onboard to entertain guests.
The ship’s March 21st 2019 sailing from Singapore to Hong Kong will also feature ballet soloists, but the performers are yet to be announced.
Silversea announced a brand new ship, Silver Moon, to launch in 2020 which will be the sister ship to Silver Muse.
