Royal Caribbean Turns Up The Heat With All-New Eateries On Icon Of The Seas

Royal Caribbean’s big, bold new ship, Icon of the Seas, will be home to an unmatched array of dining venues, the major family-friendly cruise line has revealed.

The ship, debuting in 2024, will have more than 20 new and signature restaurants and eateries to dine at onboard, including casual, quick eat spots, venues with live music and options for kids.

The experiences had over great food are at the heart of so many shared memories that we could all use more of in our day-to-day. We’ve designed Icon of the Seas to offer every guest, no matter their tastes, age and mood or the occasion, a variety of ways they can easily make those moments their way every day while on vacation.

If vacationers want to stick to their favorites, like kids and their chicken tenders, or mix it up every night and try new flavors, more than 20 experiences across Icon’s eight neighborhoods make that possible – without compromise – more than ever.

Among the new venues is the Empire Supper Club, where diners can taste New York in this sleek eatery near the lush Central Park neighbourhood on Icon of the Seas. A mesmerising eight-course menu is served in Empire Supper Club, accompanied by a three-piece band and a drink pairing.

Elsewhere in Central Park, anyone with a taste for fresh sushi and street food can pick up tasty bites at the all-day Izumi in the Park.

For something a little extra special, guests can mark special occasions at the Celebration Table, a 12-seat private eating experience where passengers can have their own choice of menus and enjoy fantastic views of the ocean.

In the AquaDome neighbourhood, passengers will be able to find Royal Caribbean’s very first food hall offering in the AquaDome Market. This fun venue will have five different stalls serving up tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes, from Mediterranean fare to sweet and savoury crepes, alongside a selection of wines and beers.

In the fun-filled Surfside neighbourhood, there are plenty more new restaurants and eateries for those of all ages, like the Surfside Eatery buffet, a stay-all-day venue, Pier 7, a brunch eatery, and Surfside Bites, a quick eats location.

In the super Suite Neighbourhood, guests can sample a number of delicious dishes at the new, casual alfresco Mediterranean-themed restaurant The Grove, mere steps away from a private pool, whirlpool and cosy chill-out spots located in this exclusive area onboard Icon of the Seas.

Alongside all these brand-new venues, many fan-favourite Royal Caribbean eateries will also be available onboard Icon of the Seas, including Chops Grille, Trellis Bar, the Dining Room, Central Park’s Park Cafe, El Loco Fresh, Windjammer buffet, Hooked Seafood, Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Bar, Izumi, Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade, Sprinkles, Coastal Kitchen and the exclusive Chef’s Table.

Avid cruisers can set sail on foodie, and Caribbean, adventures year-round from Miami on Icon of the Seas, after her grand unveiling in January 2024.
