Azamara To Host Exclusive Events On 2024 World Voyage

Luxury cruise line Azamara, which specialises in immersing cruise passengers in sensational experiences, has revealed that they will host three exclusive events, plus 11 AzAmazing Celebrations, as part of Azamara Onward’s 2024 World Voyage.

The events and celebrations have been designed and created just for the 155-night cruise, departing on 5 January 2024 from Fort Lauderdale in Florida – which is currently sold out! Azamara has said they are looking to add some last-minute cabins for waitlist guests looking to hop onboard this incredibly popular sailing.

The sailing itself, the first World Voyage Azamara Onward has ever undertaken, is a once-in-a-lifetime cruise, calling at ports in more than 40+ countries, 22 overnight stays, 27 late stays, and the opportunity for guests to see the seven wonders of the world in just one trip.

Having just announced the expansion of our AzAmazing programming, we’re pleased to share these carefully crafted events that are sure to make Azamara Onward’s first-ever World Voyage one to remember.

Each of these special celebrations are uniquely tailored to each destination, allowing our guests to get an authentic experience of local culture and traditions in extraordinary venues from the renowned Acropolis Museum in Greece to the historic Nassif House in Saudi Arabia.

Key highlights as part of the string of AzAmazing Celebrations and exclusive events taking place as part of the 2024 World Voyage include excursions in Mumbai, Papua New Guinea, Dubrovnik and Istanbul.

As part of the Unique Beauty and Wild Extravagance at the Taj Mahal event, World Voyagers will be able to immerse themselves in a full-day tour of the mesmerising and outstanding marble Taj Mahal in India. Passengers will be taken on a guided tour, enjoy a tasty lunch and be treated to local entertainment.

Passengers will be able to experience the joy of Papua New Guinea’s iconic Cultural Festival as part of Azamara’s AzAmazing The Madang Resort Mini Festival excursion, where they will be able to relish in the resort’s own cultural festival complete with spirited performances, songs, dress, songs and traditional customs.

In Dubrovnik, Azamara will host AzAmazing Evening: Croatia’s Past and Present event, featuring pop-up shows for guests including the klapa performed by a local vocal group and taste-bud-tingling local sparkling wine.

Fans of Turkish cuisine will adore The Turkish Flame event in Istanbul, taking place in the second-largest underground cistern in Istanbul. Guests will be able to indulge in Turkish food and drink accompanied by a lively performance of modernised folk dances and music from different regions of Anatolia, specially created for World Voyagers.
