P&O Cruises have now revealed that the ship will boast a range of brand new shore experiences in the Caribbean, not available on any other in the fleet.
Arvia is designed to bring guests even closer to the sea, sky and shore, featuring P&O Cruises first-ever retractable roof SkyDome. And that’s not the only feature that is making waves within the cruising community…
Electric scooters in St Lucia
Guests will have the opportunity to explore St Lucia’s picturesque northern coastline, including sights such as Rodney Bay Marina, Pigeon Island National Landmark and the famous fishing village – Gros Islet.
The eco-friendly iRide scooters, charged by solar power, will allow cruisers to go on an exhilarating open-air journey powered by a fully electric motor.
Create your own Batik in St Kitts
In the ancestral, Caribbean home of Caribelle Batik, guests can enjoy the unique experience of creating their very own Batik; the art of using wax or dye to decorate fabric surfaces, such as cotton or silk.
Expert artists will demonstrate their work while fully narrating the ancient art form and its history, before guests can then get stuck into creating their very own sentimental souvenir.
Craft beer and rum tasting in Barbados
Located on a former sugar plantation dating back to 1720, the Foursquare Rum Distillery is where the true spirit of Barbados can be found.
Guests will learn about the combination of unique processes and techniques used to create the rich styles of rum before, of course, enjoying a tasting session.
Following this, the second half of the tour will take guests on a short drive to a local beer brewery, DreadHop Brewing.
It is here that groups can find out about the broad selection of ingredients sourced globally to produce a variety of beer styles, sampling the fantastic brews along with complimentary snacks.
Along with these new shore experiences, guests will still be able to enjoy a variety of existing P&O adventures: including family activities like kayaking and snorkeling, or simply relaxing on a lounger amongst stunning views at local beaches.
