P&O All Inclusive Drinks Packages.

P&O Australia have recently confirming they are to trial All Inclusive Beverages packages on the Pacific Pearls with the plans to bring this benefit from July 2016 across their whole fleet.

Until now P&O have only even offered the odd wine package and soda package but this new trial is good news for drinker.

Priced at AU$69 per adult per day during the trial period the package will include wine, beer and spirits up to the value of AU$12, plus bottled water, soft drinks, coffee and tea.

Conditions expected to be in place will be that beverage package will only be available for cruises of 7 day duration and over also that guest will only be able to order one drink at a time. Also must be purchased for the whole duration within the first 2 days of the sailing.

A P&O Australia spokesperson said the introduction of the package was “in line with the growing quality and sophistication of the cruise product” and was similar to packages offered by other cruise lines.

“P&O Cruises has taken great care in developing the package as a convenient option for guests and is confident that the trial will be successful, with fine-tuning able to be made as necessary,” the spokesperson said.

However the cruise line stressed it will be strictly following Australia’s Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) guidelines with its policy of “zero tolerance of excessive behaviour” still firmly in place.

So will P&O UK follow in their Australian sisters footsteps? Only time will tell. At the moment their are no updates to suggest they will but hopefully they will look at this as any opportunity to add this to their services.
