Almost time for Britannia!

Over the last 12 months the cruising world has been alive with news of brand new fresh vessels hitting our seas. We now have just a few weeks until one of the more anticipated ships arrives, the very patriotic P&O Britannia and guess who has been invited along to meet her on her first day?………….ME!!!

THE FACTS about the newest family Friendly fleet member, which is the Biggest ship to ever be built for the U.K market.

WHAT AM I MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING?

The Lime light club- An all new dining experience for P&O, combining great food with Live entertainment.  Guest will be able to sample  European dishes whilst enjoying the sound of Jazz, pop, soul and blues during their meal. Once finished this venue turns from restaurant to night club to dance the night away.

With 10 celebrity chief joining the Britannia as  “Food Heros”, the menus will be high on everyone’s agenda we recently go a sneak peek at some of the planned menus but I cant wait to try them for real.

The Main focal point for all cruise ships is the Atrium, the Starburst  chandelier has been promised to be amazing with shards of mirrors and glass into the main centre piece, there will be lots of photos of this on their way.

Apparently for a very British ship they will be making the most of a very British Gin n tonic, with 20 a menu of the top Gins being featured in the Crows nest for tasting sessions. Obviously for research purposes I will do my best to get through as many as possible to be able to give you my first hand expertise 😉
