Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year of cruising

I would just like to say a massive thank you to all my customers that have made 2013 an enjoyable year.

There have been plenty of talk about cruises this year and a few of the big bosses at the cruise lines have left their roles, mainly down to how pricing structures have been implemented.

With my customers most of the talk and chit chat has been to do with the prices of cruises, the Getaway fare and also added benefits like Drinks packages being added to fares for ‘New bookings only’.

All too often the early booker have been left out of pocket.

Not no more apparently, Recently 1 of my customers has just returned from a 24 night Caribbean cruise and whilst on there spoke to the sales team. She advised my client that P&O would not be doing reduced late fare availability and that P&O are willing to let ships sail with many many cabins unsold, if this is the case it is a big gamble and will only be sustainable for a limited time, however if customers buy into the early booking campaign then this could be a winner for everyone. I for 1 would like to see this happen, too many customers call me upset with prices being reduced after they have booked.

Our first evidence of this will be in April 2014 and I look forward to it, I am intrigued.

What are your thoughts on this?

Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
