Families plan ahead , please !!!

Its starting again soon with P&O launching 2018 very early this year, they are offering first time passengers discounts too!! and as usual I am asking the families to plan ahead! We hear it all of the time, people calling for families with small children in the summer holidays, one customer just refused to believe me ! I promise I would not turn a booking away if it was within my power to help, after all that is my job !

Now this is an example of the Ventura 23 July 2017, yes,  next year!! As you can see the age group 5-8 years is CLOSED , now what does that actually mean? If you come to us for a family with a 2 year old and a 6 year old , I cannot book it, simple as. The age group is closed.

How many are allowed in each age group? this varies with each ship/sailing but I can tell you the little ones are usually very low numbers. Babies as little as 20 per sailing. I know it sounds harsh, but they do need to have the facilities/staff to cater for all.

So when planning that special family holiday, often involving 5/6 cabins and lots of children, you may think it strange when a year in advance you cannot book, here is the reason. So look at 2018 early, pick your cabins and do not be disappointed.
