Virgin Galactic

I like Sir Richard Branson. I think he is a very likeable man and I a real peoples person. He should have been given the national lottery years ago. We certainly wouldn’t have given millions to art museums and £750m in the Millennium Dome but that’s another story. His latest project the Virgin Galactic Space project.

A passenger flight into space and tickets to go for just £120,000 bargain. A recent tragic event happened when sadly two pilots lost their lives. He still has the dream to deliver these flights. I remember when I first read about it a few years ago. I had to check the calendar as I thought it was one of Virgin’s April fools jokes. I was amazed and thought yes I would love to go on this flight. If you got the money and can spare £120,000 for a few minutes in space then why not? Only astronauts ever get to go into space and as kids I’m sure we’ve all dreamed of doing just that and being an astronaut.

So the likes of you and I and the small ticket price, we too could travel into space. I have to say if I could afford it I certainly would. To say you have left the country when you go on holiday is one thing but to say you’ve left the planet is something else. Some will say an accident was inevitable and I’m sure they will find out what went wrong to cause this accident but I really hope he doesn’t let this stand in his way of achieving this great goal. If anyone can Richard Branson can. As I won’t be saving to buy a ticket myself unless I win the lottery I will be keeping an eye on this and looking forward to the first flight into space and reading customers stories on their return what has to be a remarkable trip of a lifetime. Maybe next up will be a Virgin Flying cruise Ship. Don’t laugh beacause you never know.
