Do you always trust the cleaner in your room?

Do you always trust the Hotel cleaners when they tidy your room? In general I have always been very happy. They come in, they clean your room. It’s immaculate, the beds are made. I’ve been known to leave items out like my phone, Tablets and cameras etc. Perhaps a little naive but I have always been very trusting in the Hotels I stay in that the workers are also trustworthy. Well having seen this recently it’s certainly made me think in future I will be using the safe in my room.

I just couldn’t believe this when I saw it and especially at a well-known hotel in New York. Just goes to show you can’t be too careful.

What do you think? Should this particular woman have been sacked instantly? She can’t possibly have a resonable explanation as to why she did this.

Do you leave things around trusting your belongings are safe or do you always be wary and suspicious and make sure everything is locked away? When I’m on a cruise I do exactly the same, just take it for granted no one will touch anything.
