Cruise & Stay with Camp America

It’s well known I’m a big American fan. I love the states. Fortunate enough to have been several times and from East to the West Coast and my favourite being Florida. I get asked about it all the time what I enjoy and why I can just keep going back. Well it’s simple really the possibilities are endless. I keep telling people you really can combine anything with it. You don’t have to just cruise out of America and or do just a fly drive. Do both. I did. I once hired an RV Camper van and I had this for around 8 nights before I joined a cruise at the end. The Navigator of the seas.

One of the best holidays I have ever had. Starting with a few nights in New York I then got a local train to New Jersey to collect my RV. I hit the open roads and was free to go wherever I wanted as with over 16,000 camp sites in North America you’ll always find a place to stay not too far away.

I headed towards the Canadian border and spent a couple of nights at Niagara falls. Just an amazing experience to see it up close. Also recommended is to do the Maid of Mist boat excursion and get real close at the bottom of the falls.

The good thing about an RV is that you’re legally allowed to drive over the border into Canada. If you had just a car hire this isn’t permitted.

Making my own route up every day not knowing where I may end up staying was a real buzz. Sure I knew where I was heading but you just look out for the camp signs and pull in with your RV and hook up for the night. Was just awesome.

When I returned my RV I had then an internal flight to Miami before boarding my favourite ship The Navigator of the Seas. Again internal flights in the state are just like buses. So easy to do so you should never be put off and think one place is too far from another.

You don’t have to rent an RV to go exploring you can have just a normal car hire. With so many open roads and many cruise ports all over the states it’s so easy to combine a fly-drive with a cruise at the end.

A little different from just a normal cruise and stay holiday where you may be based in just one location. If you want to experience the states and want to consider the possibilities of making your holiday a little different then please give me a call and I can recommend lots for you to do. I can help you plan a route and find that perfect cruise to go with it. Often people mistake a cruise and stay as just one week on a beach and a cruise and that’s it. Not so, you could fly into Chicago and do Route 66 and finish in L.A and then board a Cruise that ends up in Miami. Endless possibilities.

A great way of seeing the states. It beats the typical fly in and must have a one night stay before the cruise then fly home again. So next time you open a brochure on the U.S.A and want to do something a little differnet call me and let me help you explore this great Country in many different ways.
