Off for a Royal Meeting

Everyone has been eagerly awaiting and counting down for the new Royal arrival, and what amazing news to have the little Prince born on St Georges day. Fabulous news for the Royal family.

I on the other hand have been on a different Royal countdown.

As next week I shall be embarking onboard Royal Princess with a few of my colleagues for a short minicruise to Dublin.

We will set sail out of Southampton headed to Guernsey, Cobh, then into Dublin.

Cobh is a little town in Southern Ireland, pronounced Cove. It is just a short distance from Cork and the Blarney Castle. And you can also visit Waterford from here too, home of Waterford Crystal of course.

But Cobh itself is well worth a visit on its each, the last port Titantic departed from on her fateful journey. There is a white star line museum here, and the little village is like stepping back in time. I have been before on Royal Caribbeans Independence of the seas on its maiden voyage. So looking forward to going back again.

Guernsey I have never been to so very much looking forward to exploring Guernsey.

But, it has to be about the ship, I am a big Princess fan, having been on a few Princess ships, most recent was Majestic princess last year before her maiden voyage from Trieste. I love all features of Princess but it is their elegance and refinement, glitz and glamour that appeals most. The dining is also some of the best at sea, and the onboard atmosphere never fails.

I shall look forward to reporting back on Royal Princess once we return, If there is anything you would like to know whilst I am onboard, please let me know. I would be happy to investigate.

🙂
