Enhanced MSC Armonia, three more to go!

With so many unhappy client about the dining and entertainment finally MSC has strategically implemented changes that are going to please the most fussy passenger on board. These are very exciting times and project that is going to give the company a positive turn.

Some of you might have heard of the Renaissance Program but if you haven’t this is a chance to find out a little bit more. Now the project is finally materializing with the very first ship completed with some lovely additions and major upgrades

The $273 million Renaissance Program is the first step in a $6 billion fleet enlargement plan, which includes four brand new ships, comprising two different, state-of-the-art prototypes, to be delivered by STX France and Fincantieri, in Italy, to be completed by 2015, with options for three more by 2022

The project involves the creation of cabins and new public areas with significant improvements to furnishing and interiors, plus exciting new leisure facilities for guests of all ages. Taking advantage of the engineering expertise of Fincantieri each ship will benefit from the installation of the latest updated technology.

MSC Lirica, delivery November 2015

MSC Armonia, the first of four MSC cruise ships to be enlarged and enhanced under the Renaissance Programme, was re-launched in Genoa on Tuesday and sailed on the 20th November 2014 for her inaugural cruise to the Canary Islands.

The new-look MSC Armonia has more balcony cabins, new dedicated clubs for younger cruisers and it’s the first cruise ship in the world to feature tailor-made areas for children that have been officially designed, equipped and endorsed by Chicco and LEGO!

In short here’s the full list of improved areas:

Dining:

Marco Polo Restaurant: featuring International à la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner menu
La Pergola: Aurea Experience and balcony cabin guests can enjoy the
Pronto Bistro menu at lunch and time-flexible My Choice Dining for dinner
Buffet restaurant: open 20 hours a day, including Burger and the Pasta and Pizza Station with daily thematic specialities.

Food is also available in the many bars and lounges for a quick bite whenever you feel hungry

Cabins:

94 new cabins with balcony: beautifully appointed balcony cabins with glass balustrades for an even better ocean view
Every cabin refurbished: redesigned to offer our guests total comfort and style, with new carpets and upholstery, new duvets and bed runners and new LED TVs

Spa area:

Aurea Spa: our award-winning spa is getting bigger, with new massage rooms for individuals and couples
Top 13 Solarium: exclusive new relaxation area on the top deck, ideal for soaking up the sun

Entertainment:

Bar and Music Lounge: 20 hours of captivating entertainment per day, a wide variety of activities for all ages and 6 spectacular shows per week, tailored to each itinerary and inspired by its destinations
