Summer time is officially here……

You know summer has officially arrived when it’s time to get out your festival wellies. I’m heading down to Southampton tomorrow to board the luxury Red Funnel ferry to sail over to the Isle of Wight for the summer music festival. 

Got a good line up again this year with one of my favourite bands Counting Crows & my boyfriend Marks favourite band Fleetwood Mac on Sunday night which also happens to be his Birthday so I’m sure we’ll be having an all day Celebration.

Weather looks good so far, so hopefully we will not be swimming in mud. We’ve gone a bit upmarket this year by booking respect camping and have had our festival trolley custom made to carry all the alcohol. Well I say upmarket, maybe we are just getting old and like an easy life. Gone are my years of trekking for miles through fields with my life and tent on my back carrying my bottle of Malibu.
