River Cruises

At the weekend we had an offer on river cruises 2 for the price of 1. I had this lovely lady phone up for this offer but she was confined to a wheelchair and wanted to know if this would be suitable. I have never been on a river cruise so I wasn’t sure so I arrange with my customer to do some home work and let her know.

Well after doing this, I found out that river cruise aren’t really suitable for any customer’s in a wheelchair there is only a lift that will take them to some of the decks not all of them and there would be excursion that the customer wouldn’t be able to go on due to the location and getting off the ship.

Now if you have read my previous blogs then you will see this is a problem that I and other people keep having and you would think in this day and age now that cruise companies would be better suited for customer’s in wheelchairs than what they are.

So many customers miss out on things just because there in a wheelchair and I think that cruise ships really need to start doing more when building there ships.
