Fred Olsen

Ever wanted to go on a Fred Olsen cruise with your kids but they don’t do anything on board to entertain them? Well Fred Olsen have now introduced a kids club called Little Skippers.

Fred Olsen will have this on all of its fleet of ships which is Four, Little Skippers will operate during peak holiday season and will provide parents and guardians the opportunity to leave there child/ children on board  from the age of five to eleven in the care of qualified children’s hosts. Little skippers will be kept entertained with a whole wide of activates from art and crafts sessions, deck games, treasure hunts, quizzes, cookie and pizza making in the gallery games evenings and swimming classes among other things. I know my niece would love this as my little girl would be to young for this.

I think its really good that Fred Olsen have bought this out as I have many customer’s wanting to go on Fred Olsen but always decided against this as there would be nothing for the kids to do. The little skippers will receive the own daily programme including an itinerary of scheduled  activities, fun facts and port information and even a mocktail of the day. How grown up will they feel having there own programmes and thinking there having a grown up drink.

This is even better for the parents as they know there kids are going to have fun doing all these actives while you have some alone time, this would be the perfect time to lounge of the sun lounger with  no interruptions or visit the Spa, sip a cocktail in the lounge all knowing that your child/children are having fun and the most important thing is that they are getting well cared for by the qualified staff.

What will this mean for customer’s now that are travelling without children as I’m sure for many years that Fred Olsen customer’s won’t have seen many children on board as most families wouldn’t take there kids on a ship that didn’t have things for the to do.
