Free Drink packages with cruise lines

Many of you know that more and more cruise lines are giving the free drinks packages but what is included with these drinks packages? Here is a list of the things that each cruise line included on their free packages,

Royal Caribbean offer the free select drinks package: This includes beer under £6.25 House wine by the glass, non-alcoholic cocktails and juices.

Celebrity offer the free classic drinks package: This includes soft drinks package, all beers up to $6 per serving, wines up to $9 per the glass, spirits and cocktails up to  $8 per serving,

NCl drinks offer is the ultimate beverage package: This includes Enjoy a wide selection of soft drinks, beers, spirits, cocktails, wines by the glass and bottled or draft beer up to and including $15 USD during your entire cruise.

But one thing I’ve noticed and so has my customer’s is that neither water or coffees are included in any of the packages, would this bother you? while I’m away I do like to drink water and I don’t always want something fizzy or something alcoholic  to drink and I do like the odd glass of water, I know many people do like a coffee throughout the day but why don’t any of these cruise lines include them?

If you just wanted a normal cup of coffee why can’t you have this free on your drinks package, far enough if you wanted a special coffee then I understand these not being included.

When cruise lines say that you have a free drinks package included are you really getting what you think you’re getting? I think the best free drinks package that is out there from all the cruise lines at the moment is NCL they have the best selection of drinks that you can have and normally they have some really good offers on their cruises as well.

I’ve had many customer’s book with these offers and I’ve never had any complaints apart from some people saying that they don’t include the water and coffee now it would be cheaper for the cruises lines to give people the free water and coffee as these aren’t as expensive as the beers or the wines. So why don’t they include them.
