Cunard Queen Victoria

Cunard have decided to cancel two of it sailings one on the 03/01/15 12 Nights Canary cruise  and there 5 Night Short break cruise. They have made this decision to bring her in to dry dock from December 2015 which is the date she should have been in dry dock to January 2015.

They have made this decision so she will be ready for her world cruise on the 20/01/15.

She will be fitted with Nine single cabins using part of the space from the casino, Large Flat Screen TVs in all staterooms and the fitting of a sun awning around the aft lido pool and on both sides of the Grills upper Terrace .

The shops will be extended with the addition of jewellery and watch  stores.

Customer that are already booked on this sailings will get £100 on board credit to spend f they book another Cunard cruise for people that wish to cancel can have a full refund. I know it’s very disappointing when cruise line’s cancel there sailings, but it will be worth it.

I know this isn’t  good for passengers that have already booked there cruise, have now had it cancelled but the new improved ship for customer’s and single travellers will be worth the wait with the new things on board, there is more and more single travellers going away and they always get a really high supplement for there holidays so now that she is having nine single cabins I think this will be really good for single travellers as they won’t have to pay the high supplement just to go away.

Was you one of the passengers that should have been going away on these sailings and what are your thoughts? would you have preferred for her to be in dry dock when Cunard said she was going to be?
