Proud to be British

P&O announced at the recent Travel Weekly Global travel awards ceremony that they will be changing the livery of their ships. A union Jack design will be added to all of their ships by the end of 2016.

I belive this is a very good move by P&O as generally as a nation we are  very patriotic and value our British heritage.

As part of the modernisation of their fleet the design will feature on the bow of all ships and will be 94 metres in length making it the longest flag in the world.

The P&O ships will proudly carry the British union jack flag to all corners of the world and will make the ships more distinctive and recognisable around the world.

There are so many other cruise lines that celebrate their heritage it is nice to see a British Cruise Line standing out and being proud to be British.

What do you think of this change ?
