The importance of good travel insurance
When you book your cruise we tell you that it is a condition of the cruise line that you have adequate travel insurance cover while you are away on your cruise.
If you don’t already have existing cover in place then travel insurance should be arranged sooner rather than later.
As well as covering you while you are away, travel insurance can also cover potential loses if your cruise needs to be cancelled for certain reasons. If something happens that means that you have to cancel your cruise then the situation is obviously going to be far from perfect, if you are not covered then it isn’t going to help matters by losing a potentially large sum of money.
When we look for insurance we are often attracted by a low premium, however it is very important to look into the details of your policy to find out what it does and doesn’t cover, there is no point is having a practically useless policy, no matter how cheap it is.
